Southpointe’s educational programming combines the British Columbia curriculum with the world leading International Baccalaureate programme, which empowers students to take ownership in their own learning and help them develop future-ready skills to make a difference. We offer the Primary Years Programme from Kindergarten to Grade 5, Middle Years Programme from Grade 6 to Grade 10 and Diploma Programme from Grade 11 to 12, making us one of the few schools in Canada and the only school in Delta to be authorized to deliver the IB Continuum Programme from K-12.

Junior School
Our Junior School is alive with energy, excitement and inspiration. The IB Primary Years Programme, in accordance with the British Columbia Curriculum, sets the stage for our students to explore, create, investigate, perform, wonder, be physically active, and collaborate. The PYP is a concept-based model that challenges students to engage with significant ideas to understand the world around them.
Middle School
Southpointe’s Middle School is a warm and caring environment, delivering the IB MYP framework, an academically challenging and holistic education that enhances the BC Curriculum through engaging and personalized learning. Students learn 21st Century skills through global contexts to develop an understanding of common humanity and become internationally-minded young people who empathize with others and pursue lives of purpose and meaning.
Senior School
Entering our Senior School, you will find an environment that inspires students to reach their full potential, promoting independence and a growth mindset that has an enormous influence on future success. Delivering the IB DP, our Grade 10 to 12 students develop a breadth and depth of knowledge, and following graduation, our students are well prepared for the rigours of post-secondary education.
University Counselling
At Southpointe, we believe in beginning the post-secondary goals conversation early! Starting in Grade 9, students and their families meet with our full-time University Counsellor to gain an understanding of course options and future pathways.
Experiential Education
Through programs such as Project Discover, Duke of Edinburgh, & international travel, students are presented with a broader understanding of the world where intercultural competencies & skills are strengthened.
Arts Programme
We recognize the importance of the Arts in the life of every student from K-12. STEM, visual arts, performing arts, drama & band course offerings encourage exploring new ideas & becoming creative thinkers.
